Scheduling and planning

We work with you on developing a schedule that will maximize the learning time for the teenage driver, with lessons available seven days a week.

Our instructors will gauge the teen driver’s skillset from the beginning, identify improvement areas and tailor an action plan that best suits them.  This information is shared with the parents so that they can also continue working with their son or daughter on the areas identified, helping prepare them for behind the wheel lessons ahead.

The goal is to work through the improvement areas listed on the action plan, helping to build skills and confidence, while also helping to knock hours off the observation log.

Lesson hours and pricing

The more you learn, the more you save.  Observation lessons begin with one hour, and scale up from there with no cap, with significant savings per additional hour.

  • Learner’s permit
  • 45-Hour log from Driver’s Ed
  • Comfortable shoes to safely drive in
  • A positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn

Help Drivers

This program helps teens fulfill Virginia’s 45-hour supervised driving requirement. Teens can complete some or all of their required hours with a certified instructor, gaining professional feedback and ensuring safe driving practices.

Virginia law requires teen drivers under 18 to complete at least 45 hours of supervised driving, including 15 at night. This program provides professional instruction, which is documented in the required driving log.

1–3 hours: $99 per hour 4+ hours: $85 per hour All sessions are taught by certified instructors and tailored to each student’s needs.

After each session, the instructor provides written feedback for the student. This feedback is used to complete the 45-hour log, which must be submitted to the teen’s in-car driver education teacher.
