Passengers in the Vehicle

  • All front seat passengers MUST wear safety belts.
  • Passengers under the age of 18 must wear a safety belt or restraint. It is advisable for all rear-seat passengers to wear seatbelts, regardless of age.
  • Passengers age 8 – 12 must sit in the back seats.
  • Passengers age 2 to 7 must seat in booster seats. Booster seats fit into safety seats and can be adjusted to accommodate the growing size of the child.
  • Infants and toddlers from birth to age 2 must be seated in REAR-FACING safety seat.
